NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF KAUFMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 7th DAY OF May , 2007 ,

AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE KAUFMAN COUNTY JUDGE’S OFFICE, 100 WEST MULBERRY, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

-          Approval of minutes of meeting on April 23, 2007 and April 30, 2007.

-          Routine Correspondence

-          Executive Session       -          Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code.

                                                            Re: Personnel Matters

-          Johnny Countryman   -          To present Treasurer’s Monthly Report for March 2007.

                                                -          To present Treasurer’s Quarterly Report for Quarter ending

March 2007.

                                                -          To present Treasurer’s Investment Report for Quarter ending March 2007.

-          To discuss and consider exempting additional people from the dangerous and wild animal ordinance and what instructions and regulation system to put in place.

-          To discuss and consider the de-platting of Holly Additions in Kaufman County Precinct 4.

-          To discuss and consider relocation of Agricultural Extension Offices.  

-          To discuss and consider approving a Reserve Deputy Constable for Kaufman County Precinct 1.

-          To discuss and consider approving a Memorandum of Agreement between Kaufman County and FEMA for the purposes of producing an updated digital flood map of Kaufman County.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for an annual contract for Uniforms for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.

-          To discuss and consider a workshop for the Kaufman County Purchasing Manual.

-          To discuss and consider proclaiming the week of May 20^th through May 26^th as Hurricane Awareness Week in Kaufman County.

-          To discuss and consider approving bond of Grant Cousins, Reserve Deputy Constable

            Precinct 4.

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Monte Mansfield for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.

-          To discuss and consider approving request for EMBARQ to install buried communications cable across (under) and along the right of way of CR 107 in Kaufman County Precinct 1.

-          To consider approval of line-item transfers. 

-          Approval of claims for payment. 

-          Remarks from visitors. 

-          Motion to Adjourn Regular Meeting.
