NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF KAUFMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 11th DAY OF June , 2007 ,

AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT MEETING ROOM AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING, 100 NORTH WASHINGTON, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

-          Approval of minutes of meeting on May 30, 2007.

-          Routine Correspondence 

-          Richard Murphy         -          To discuss and consider accepting the Kaufman County Tax Assessor Collectors monthly report for April 2007.

-          Johnny Countryman   -          To present the Treasurers Monthly Report for April 2007.

-          Hal Jones                    -          To present the Auditor’s Report for May 2007.

                                                -          To discuss and consider an emergency budget amendment for Indigent Defense and Indigent Health.

-          To discuss and consider approving grant application for the continuation grant for Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Intervention Program Grant for 2007 - 2008.

-          To discuss and consider opening/awarding Bid #07-11, Annual contract for Sheriff’s Department Uniforms.

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Benjamen L. Schoeff for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Billy Wayne Kilgore for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.  

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Jon Kalon Rollins for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Flecia Doggan for the Kaufman County Clerk’s Office.

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Theresa Noble for the Kaufman County Clerk’s Office.

-          To discuss and consider approving request for EMBARQ to install buried communications drop wire under (across) the right of way of CR Taylor Ranch Loop in Kaufman County Precinct 4.

-          To consider approval of line-item transfers.

-          Approval of claims for payment. 

-          Remarks from visitors. 

-          Motion to Adjourn Regular Meeting.
