NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF KAUFMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 2nd DAY OF July , 2007 ,

AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT MEETING ROOM AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING, 100 NORTH WASHINGTON, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

-          Approval of minutes of meeting on June 25, 2007.

-          Routine Correspondence 

-          Richard Murphy         -          To discuss and consider accepting the Kaufman County Tax Assessor Collectors monthly report for May 2007. 

-          LaReta Williams        -          To present Kaufman County Children’s Shelter Director’s Report for February 2007, March 2007, April 2007 and May 2007.

-          To discuss and consider utilizing the State of Texas TMAS contract with Southern Tire Mart for tire purchases.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for an annual contract for Office Supplies.

-          To discuss and consider signing an agreement with The League of Oregon Cities for the purpose of purchasing Goodyear Tires.

-          To discuss and consider approving road repairs for the City of Combine not to exceed $100,000.00.

-          To discuss and consider approving emergency budget amendment of $2500.00 for the Kaufman County Precinct 3 Constable.

-          To discuss and consider accepting annual road report for filing for Kaufman County Precinct 3.

-          To discuss and consider approving request for EMBARQ to install buried communications drop wire along (upon) and under (across) the right of way of CR 4052 in Kaufman County Pct 4.

-          To consider approval of line-item transfers.

-          Approval of claims for payment. 

-          Remarks from visitors. 

-          Motion to Adjourn Regular Meeting.
