NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF KAUFMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 30th DAY OF July , 2007 ,

AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT MEETING ROOM AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING, 100 NORTH WASHINGTON, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

-          Approval of minutes of meeting on July 23, 2007.

-          Routine Correspondence 

-          To discuss and consider appointing the Democrat Judges and Alternate Judges for all elections through

            June, 2008.  

-To discuss and consider establishing the Commissioners’ Courtroom at the Kaufman County Courthouse Annex as the central counting station for all elections through June, 2008.

-          To discuss and consider appointing Teressa Floyd as the presiding judge of the central counting station for all elections through June, 2008.

-          To discuss and consider appointing P.J. Gibson as the central counting station manager for all elections through June, 2008.

-          To discuss and consider appointing Jody Deller as the tabulation supervisor of the central counting station for all elections through June, 2008.

-          To discuss and consider appointing Barbara Doughty as the assistant tabulation supervisor of the central counting station for all elections through June, 2008.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for the purchase of a Chip Spreader for Kaufman County Pct 2.

-          To discuss and consider utilizing a contract with O’Reilly Auto Parts thru a contract awarded by BuyBoard.

-          To discuss and consider opening Bid #07-13, Annual Contract for Office Supplies.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for the purchase of a Pick-up for Kaufman County Pct 1.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for the purchase of a Tractor for Kaufman County Pct 3.

-          To discuss and consider advertising for an annual contract for Janitorial Supplies. 

-          To discuss and consider approving Deputation of Cody Henderson for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.

-          To discuss and consider approving request for EMBARQ to install buried communications drop wire under and across the right of way and upon and along the right of way of CR S. Second Street (Beautiful Acres) in Kaufman County Precinct 4.

-          To consider approval of line-item transfers. 

-          Approval of claims for payment.                                              

-          Remarks from visitors. 

-          Motion to Adjourn Regular Meeting.
