NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS' COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 21st DAY OF August, 2006 , AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT MEETING ROOM AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING, 100 NORTH WASHINGTON, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

- Approval of minutes of meeting on August 14, 2006.

- Margaret Moffitt, DAR - To discuss and consider passing a proclamation for Constitution Week.
- Hal Jones - To present Auditor’s Report for July 2006.
- Consideration and action on an order authorizing the issuance of approximately $2,020,000 “Kaufman County, Texas Tax Notes, series 2006B” and matters related thereto.
- To discuss and consider authorizing Richard Murphy and Laura Hughes to explore the possibility of acquisition of an available lot near the Kaufman Square and construction of a building for use as storage of records and equipment by the County Clerk, Voter, Elections and Tax Offices.
- To discuss and consider approving Regular and Temporary Early Voting Locations and Election Day Voting Locations for the November 7, 2006 Elections.
- To discuss and consider authorizing the County Election Officer to contract with various ISDs, Cities and other entities to conduct and supervise their elections to be held November 7, 2006.
- To discuss and consider an Interlocal Agreement for the City of Combine for Road Maintenance, Kaufman County Precinct 4.
- To discuss and consider acknowledging the filing of the Dallas Crown Inc. Slaughter Report for the week ending 7-28-06.
- To discuss and consider acknowledging the filing of the Dallas Crown Inc. Slaughter Report for the week ending 8-3-06.

- To consider approval of line-item transfers.
