NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF KAUFMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A Regular MEETING OF THE ABOVE NAMED COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL BE HELD ON THE 17th DAY OF September , 2007 ,

AT 9:30 A.M., IN THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT MEETING ROOM AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING, 100 NORTH WASHINGTON, KAUFMAN, TEXAS, AT WHICH TIME THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT WILL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION, TO WIT:

-          Approval of minutes of meeting on September 10, 2007.

-          Routine Correspondence 

-          Motion to exit Regular Meeting and enter into Public Hearing.

-          10:00 a.m.       -          Public Hearing on Proposed Budget for FY 2007 - 2008.

-          Motion to exit Public Hearing and enter back into Regular Meeting.

-          Larry Ewing               -          To discuss and consider approving a County Wide Burn Ban.

-          Hal Jones                    -          To present Auditor’s Report for August 2007.

-          Johnny Countryman   -          To discuss and consider approving a change in the Policy on Vacation in the County’s personnel manual.

-          Richard Murphy         -          To discuss and consider allowing the tax office to verify that no delinquent taxes due from auction/resale bidders before allowing them to bid, and charging a $10.00 fee for a 90 day certificate of verification.

-          To discuss and consider opening/awarding bid #07-17, Installation of Concrete Pad for Sheriff’s Department Auto Impound.

-          To discuss and consider renewal of Interlocal Agreement for road maintenance for the City of Combine, City of Rosser and City of Scurry.

-          To discuss and consider approving a Interlocal Agreement for Emergency Mutual Aid for the City of Combine, City of Scurry and City of Rosser.

-          To discuss and consider entering into an Interlocal Agreement with Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District 1-C.

-          To consider approval of line-item transfers. 

-          Approval of claims for payment.                                              

-          Remarks from visitors. 

-          Motion to Adjourn Regular Meeting.
