Adult Probation

The mission of the Kaufman County Community Supervision and Corrections Department is to protect the community through supervision of the offender, to alter criminal behavior through appropriate administration of sanctions and to provide services necessary to facilitate positive change in the offender's behavior.

Long Range Goals

• To provide increased opportunities for offenders to make resititution to
  the victims of crime in Kaufman County throught financial reimbursement or community service.

• To increase our involvement in developing sentencing programs in Kaufman
  County that will provide for effective sanctions for offenders.

• To provide increased use of community resources designated specifically to
  meet our local needs.

• To Provide efficiency and economy to the delivery of our community based programs.
