AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE TAX ASSESSOR'S OFFICE:
Because the Kaufman County tax office was closed from Tuesday, January 31 through Thursday, February 2, 2023 due to extreme winter weather, late fees on your tax payments due by January 31 will not be charged. Taxpayers will be credited for the January 31st due date on the first day the office reopens to the public which will be Friday, February 3. You may still pay at Kaufmantax.net on the website or by phone at 1-866-549-1010 Bureau Code 5499044.
