Nov. 30 Deadline to Adopt An Angel

Adopt an Angel and donate a child’s wish list items and toys to the Kaufman County ANGEL TREE to make a child smile this holiday season! The Kaufman County Child Welfare Board is now encouraging people to adopt an Angel, children in the care of Child Protective Services, who are in need of some joy this holiday season.

ADOPT AN ANGEL: To sign up, please sign one of the books located at the Courthouse, 100 W. Mulberry St. in Kaufman, or at the Sub-Courthouse campus at 3001 S. Washington St. in Kaufman thru Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Simply select a child in the notebook and write your contact information next to that child’s number and take the description of what they are wishing for.

DROP OFF: Then, bring the new, unwrapped gift or gifts to the Kaufman County South Campus located at 3003 S. Washington St. in Kaufman from Wednesday, December 1 thru Friday, December 3. Drop off hours on those days are:

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The new unwrapped gift or gifts should be placed in a black trash bag with your child’s number and requested information attached to the outside and also placed inside the bag and delivered to the location above during the available hours.
