Bring your used electronics that you are ready to discard to the Kaufman County Resident Electronic Recycling Event on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will be held in the parking lot at the Kaufman County, Courthouse South Annex located at 3003 S. Washington St. in Kaufman.
Items to be accepted include computers, laptops, internal/external hard drives, printers, copiers, gaming and entertainment devices, TVs, VCRs, DVDs, stereos, cameras, cell phones, and everything associated with these items such as cords, power chargers, cabling, keyboards, mouse devices, web cams, memory and gaming boards and sound systems.
NOTE: This list is not all-inclusive, so please text Joan Meeks at 817-300-6958.
Items NOT accepted: Appliances, water heaters, tires, paint, light bulbs, gasoline, oils, or freon.
