Qualified Applicants

Because birth records are protected by state law, you must be a qualified applicant in order to receive a birth certificate (TAC Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 181, Subchapter B)

  • The person named in the record.
  • The parents, sibling, spouse, grandparent, legal guardian or managing conservator of the registrant.
  • Legal Guardian or Legal Representative, etc. (please contact our office for further information).
